Summary
Ti Toro Miko Opens New Artisan Concept Shop in Bushwick with a Vibrant Celebration of Fashion, Culture, and Mexican Heritage
Bushwick, Brooklyn — As New York City buzzes with Fashion Week and communities across the country prepare to honor Hispanic Heritage Month, Bushwick welcomes a new cultural and fashion-forward destination: Ti Toro Miko Artisan Shop.
From September 15 to 20, Ti Toro Miko is hosting a debut celebration at its new space on Myrtle Avenue and Broadway. Join us for an interactive experience coinciding with Mexican Independence Day and Hispanic Heritage Month. Guests will discover a curated collection of handmade art, textiles, and folkloric accessories from Mexico. Each piece carries the craftsmanship of Indigenous artisans in remote villages of the Mexican States of Guerrero and Chiapas.
Our opening lands at the perfect cultural crossroad where style meets tradition, and where community and creativity converge in solidarity with talented Mexican immigrants. While New York Fashion Week brings international attention to the city’s most vibrant fashion, an emerging cultural group Ti Toro Miko introduces a fresh lens: creative expression rooted in heritage, resilience, and authentic representation.
Ti Toro Miko’s shop launch is a cultural moment that honors the artistry of Indigenous creators and visibilizes their work by leveraging the momentum of New York Fashion Week. Become part of this movement by visiting us in Brooklyn! With your support we can ensure some of Fashion Week’s spotlight illuminates the hard work and talent of the world’s most under-represented artists, who produce one-of-a-kind art in remote villages. Learn more about the inspirational determination of these artisans to continue in the footsteps of their ancestors by keeping traditional craft art alive and relevant. Every purchase supports Indigenous artisans and immigrant activism, weaving together style and social impact.
The festivities will feature music, community, and a special promotion—a complimentary tequila shot with every $50 purchase—inviting guests to toast to culture, independence, and creative exchange.
